  301. [..YouTube..] Not using headphones is not that hard. I’m not even close to Kentaro and I don’t uses them when I scratch and beat juggle. They get in the way. All you have to do is break the song down by the number of beats (4, 8) and count the number of revolutions the records makes in relationship to the visual cue point. A standard 8 count on a 35 rpm record roughly makes 3 revolutions give or take depending on the number of BPM the track has. Once you get the hang of it. It’s fun and cool to watch!

  333. [..YouTube..] Its wierd. I’ve seen all of these Dj routines and DMC sets on youtube and I’ve never seen anybodys needle skip. Thats one reason that I never tried out for a battle becasue I was scared my needle would skip and throw off the whole routine. And yes I know you have to set the counter wieght right and all that but it still happened to me.

[..YouTube..] @sQratch3 well duh he has cue points, but he has to do other tricks in between those cues, therefor he has to know his cue points very well, you cant mark a record with a bunch of stickers where you wanna cue a scratch. thats retarted. just like a guitar, sometimes shit just sounds awesome when you practice alot
