The Lab DJ Crew Live with 5 DJs and 2 MPCs. 欢迎观看著名 实验 上海 DJs 的现场录影带. 发起人：王冬青 DJ V-nutz，傅骏 DJ Fortune 志愿者：DJ Big One，DJ Shige，DJ L-j，Kuli，DJ Sickstar, DJ HBD, MC Tangking, MC Mojo.

什么是实验室（Lab）

简单的说实验室就是一个非盈利的，向公众开放的非主流音乐和文化交流社区。具体的来说就是每一位爱乐人士和具有创意思想的人士（包括音乐人，乐队，DJ， MC，VJ，涂鸦艺人以及各类创意人士）都可以免费使用实验室的空间和设施。另外我们更欢迎有兴趣了解音乐和文化的人士参与到这个空间中来，充分分享和利用实验室的资源，从而来改善上海的音乐和文化环境，并推动其向健康的方向发展。

为什么会有实验室（Lab）

上海的夜店音乐环境经过近8年来的发展，可以说在量上已经达到了供大于求，但在质的方面还是提高地相当缓慢，甚至有倒退的迹象。在上海每个月至少有数间 Club开张，7，8年前在上海还是“仅此一家”的Hip-Hop，如今是各家夜店争相播放，视其为招揽客人和保证营业额的宠儿。
从表面上来看对 Hip-Hop在Club走过的历程，你就可以知道这绝不是一件好事，而是一个灾难！为什么代表Hip-Hop最好时期与最高水准的MC和组合的曲目在如今上海大多数所谓Hip-Hop Club里从未被播放过？而且很多所谓的Hip-Hop DJ和爱好者都对这些经典闻所未闻或是不屑一顾。只有一种解释可以说明这一现象，那就是很多人爱的并不是Hip-Hop，他们爱的只是Hip-Hop给他们带来在外表和虚荣心上的满足。这种现象当然并不局限在上海，在纽约，在伦敦，在东京，只要有Hip-Hop的地方就有这种现象存在，但在上海除了充斥了这种现象的音乐环境之外，我们还有什么？
我们并没有像外国人那样在西方音乐历史中成长，这是一个不争的事实，但如今的世界已没有距离，大量人员的流动和网络的扩张使我们更容易接近我们感兴趣的事物和信息。所以基于这些因素，我们决定创立一个音乐和文化为主题的交流社区，而且必须是非盈利的，因为只有是不建立在金钱基础上的音乐和文化才是最纯正的。
